Consulting and Plan Design

The success of any building project is having a clear vision and blueprint. The same is true for company retirement plans. As a business owner, what is your vision for the plan? What will make it successful for you, your company, and your employees?

Before we start drafting your plan, we need a design draft a blueprint by first understanding your vision for the plan. We want to learn about your company and your objectives for the plan. Who is the plan really for – you, your employees, or both? Do you want to contribute for all of your employees? Or do you want to target a certain group of employees for whom you want to benefit? Do you want to maximize contributions for your self with the least cost in contributions for employees?

The answers to these and many other questions will give us the design and blueprint to draft your plan. From employee eligibility (who’s in the plan and who’s not) and types of contributions (Roth, Profit Sharing, Safe Harbor, Cross-tested) to vesting and distributions (hardship, in-service, loans), all of the these are provisions that you choose and make your plan unique to you and your business.
